Product Designer, Product Manager & Entrepreneur
Hong has been interested in art and design for as long as he can remember. He grew up reading comics and playing games on his Super Nintendo. He got pretty good at drawing superheroes, mainly because he secretly wanted to become one. He graduated from Parsons School of Design in NYC with a BFA. He lived in NYC for over 20 years, worked in Silicon Valley for 12 years and is now living in North Carolina.
He's incredibly passionate about design & apps. He learned HTML & CSS during the dot-com bubble and in a fit of madness, he learned to develop apps & games when mobile became popular. In addition to being a Product Designer, he is the Mobile Product Manager of a well-known Y-Combinator backed heathcare company. Some would say that he works too much and they are probably right. In his mind, he's just doing what he loves.
